During January 2012 there was a special promotion to encourage rail travel to Riverside retail and leisure in Norwich. The Rail to the Riverside promotions was supported by
with Go Travel Solutions, National Express, Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council.

Smarter Travel Choices AWTP (Area Wide Travel Plans) Norwich signals a major effort to reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions across the County of Norfolk. Kick started through a unique tripartite partnership between Norfolk County Council, Highways Agency and East of England Development Agency, the programme brings a broad range of innovative tools, techniques and benefits to engage local communities in sustainable travel activity, helping you to save time and money.
We are delighted to have a strong base of investors. Henderson Global Investors are the fund managers for Riverside Retail Park in Norwich, one of the programme areas, and are a Gold Smarter Champion.
